Your office helped my parents apply for VA Aid and Attendance and Medi-Cal benefits. We got Medi-Cal approval somewhere in December 2012, but couldn't use it until late May of 2013. But I am so grateful that we have it, because when we needed it, we needed it in a big way. As with the VA benefits ... a huge payment showed up in his account. We got approved retroactively. I wanted to let you know of the good news and say a big THANK YOU to everyone in your office who have been involved.
Esther Wang has flawlessly handled every aspect of our mother's Medi-Cal qualification and subsequent redeterminations. She has even successfully defended our case when we have made minor errors along the way. She understands that we are not the experts - so she willingly uses her expertise to bridge the gap! Additionally, the actions and philosophy of Esther's practice are always in accordance with the law, and above board. In our experience, she never seemed to be trying to deal underhandedly with the state, but simply to represent our mother's interests within the law. In that, she has proved to be an honest and hard-working advocate, repeatedly finding creative ways for us to handle our unique circumstances, in order to save us time, money, and aggravation. In sum, I cannot imagine having tried to negotiate this path without Esther's assistance, and she and her staff have made it a painless and (almost!) enjoyable experience.
Esther and her staff so impressed me with their knowledge of the law, compassion for our plight, and attention to detail, that I had to chose her to handle my case. They spent hours, walking us through the process. My paralegal was almost always available right then on that call. Our previous living trust attorney would only take calls through voicemail and often wouldn't respond for days. Esther and her VA Benefits consultant would tell me that they aren't giving up. If I had handled this myself, I would have quit and the VA would have let the case drop. We are now receiving monthly checks which covers most of his care and I owe it completely to this firm. I highly recommend them to my friends and anyone who needs to apply for VA benefits. Words that come to mind are kind, intelligent, knowledgeable, persistent and SUCCESSFUL.
My family came to Esther to help us prepare my mother's application for V. A. Aid and Assistance. During our consultation, she also recommended we apply for Medi-Cal and create a durable power of attorney, as well. Esther and her staff went to work and in a few short weeks we had both the power of attorney and a favorable response from Medi-Cal. Several months later, my mother's V.A. application for benefits was approved and she is able to enjoy the benefits of assisted living without the fear of financial ruin. Esther's entire staff promptly and professionally responded to our questions and concerns and went as far as meeting my mother at her residence to get documents signed and notarized! I would unequivocally recommend Esther for all of your elder and disability law needs!
After meeting with a few other law offices for VA and Medi-Cal issues I found Esther Wang to be the most experienced in both areas besides having the most fair fee schedule. It was within the first 10 minutes of my initial consultation I knew I wanted her office to handle my affairs. She was very clear and complete in how she would proceed with my case and did exactly that. I highly recommend her.
We came to Esther to ask for her assistance in getting our mother approved for Medi-Cal but also for survivors benefits as a spouse of a WWII veteran. Esther and her entire firm were very professional yet very outgoing and personal and friendly with my sister and I. We never felt rushed when we met with Esther or her staff and they always asked before we left if there were any other questions we had. Great Lawyer --- Great Staff.
I first met Esther about two years ago. I needed help for my Aunt who had just lost her husband and didn't know what to do. An attorney I knew in Yuma, AZ, recommended Esther. They took care of everything and thanks to Esther and her staff my Aunt is safe, she has some money, and we don't have to worry about how we are going to pay her bills. In my mind there isn't anyone better than Esther and Elder Law Firm. They told us what they would do and then accomplished everything they set out to do. I would recommend Esther to anyone that needs help with a loved one or family member.
From the moment I first stepped into Ms Wang's office I knew I was in the right place. They office made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Ms Wang and I had our consultation and I immediately knew I had made the right decision to see her. Ms Wang and her staff have been a Godsend to both my daughter and I in a most difficult time of our life. Not knowing where to start first she and her office made me feel as if everything was going to be alright and it was. I cannot begin to say how thankful I am to them. I would most certainly recommend Ms Wang's to anyone who required an Attorney for the Elderly.
I found Esther Wang. She reviewed all of the paperwork and said she could help us. I am so thankful that I found her.
Ms Esther Wang and Staff are awesome! From my initial consultation through the completion of my case, they were professional, respectful of my time and always available to discuss my concerns. I am so glad I found them!
I cannot thank Esther and her very professional staff for their help in writing my Dad's Irrevocable Trust and obtaining benefits now that he is in a home for Alzheimer's patients. I would never have been able to navigate the VA system or have the Trust written correctly. Many, many thanks for Esther Wang and her office and their professional work.
We learned so much from Ms Wang and her staff. They know what they're doing and how to apply for assistance for the elderly. We never could have gotten Medi-cal and VA benefits approved without them. Their fees may be high, but it is worth every penny when your loved one's life and well being are at stake. Thank you!
My wife's mother at age 89 required assisted living due to health and inability to care for herself and live alone. After researching senior living facilities we quickly learned how expensive this option would be. We sought input and advise from Esther Wang and learned that the mother in-law could qualify for US Veteran benefits to help defray the high costs of elder care. Esther Wang advised and guided us through every step of the process. The entire process resulted with the mother in-law moving to a wonderful assisted living facility, the sell of her primary residence, creation of trusts and wills to protect her interests and our sanity, ha ha. We feel so fortunate to have entrusted this important mater to Esther and her staff, we could not be more satisfied with the outcome, the professional conduct and thoroughness of all aspects.
Thank you all.................
My elderly Father-in-law experienced a fall that injured his hip. The injury left him in a wheel chair and unable to walk. My Mother-in-law was overwhelmed. We realized they could no longer live on their own and required extended care services. We moved them out of the home they lived in for 18 years and into an independent care facility. The costs of their new residence and the extended care services were very high and were depleting their small savings. My Father-in-law was a veteran of WWII and it was recommended by a consultant that we should look into VA Aid and Attendance benefits. We were advised that Esther Wang, Attorney at Law with Elder & Disability Law Firm, was the best. However, my Mother-in-law and I decided to go to the Veterans Affairs office to speak with them about the process and paperwork involved. We both realized that we needed to make an appointment with Ms. Wang. Esther was empathetic and extremely knowledgeable about working with the VA. [The staff] followed through with any questions and concerns we faced. Sadly, a few months after getting the VA benefit for my Father-in-law, he passed away. We called Esther to help us again, with acquiring VA Aid & Attendance, but this time it was for the spousal benefit for my Mother-in-law, who now walks with a cane. Esther was amazing with her legal prowess and together with [the staff], we were able to achieve our goal. My Mother-in-law is now receiving her VA Aid & Attendance Spousal benefit! We highly recommend Esther Wang, Attorney at Law!!
I hired Esther and her amazing team in 2016 after my elderly widowed father relocated from Arizona to California to reunite with his high school girlfriend. Given his fragile health, we had a consult with Esther to explain his assets and financial situation in order to plan for the day he might need long term care. She recommended a solid plan to protect his rental property in Phoenix, and life insurance equity. We worked with her staff attorney Jason Oei to implement the details of this plan which included creating a trust, updated power of attorney docs, and a will. Jason was so helpful to represent us with several details concerning the title on my father's property in Arizona, and the homeowners association (which potentially had implications for his ability to continue renting out his property following transfer to the trust.) Jason helped us navigate all of this with confidence and patience, and he followed up on unresolved issues proactively.
More recently, my father had a serious illness which put him in the hospital for months, followed by 80 days of in-patient skilled nursing. We again hired the firm to advise on spend down and to handle his Medi-Cal application. Medi-Cal expert Kristie Reyland was so helpful, remained available to answer all my questions (and as a worrier, I had MANY), and put me at ease while we awaited the application to be approved.
As a Texas resident, I was familiar with the need for good long-term care planning with local counsel who know your state's ins/outs for Medicaid eligibility and asset protection. We hired a fantastic attorney for our TX-residing mother-in-law and she was worth every penny. Through that experience, I knew how important it was to find California experts on elder law, particularly Medi-Cal planning. While Redlands is nowhere convenient to my father's residence in the San Fernando Valley of LA County, I knew after consulting with Esther that she and her team were exactly who we needed to hire for help with my father. Dad was very comfortable with Jason, and everything was explained so well.
They are generous with their time, and truly get the job done for the price they quoted. They were also generous with their time to provide objective advice before I had even decided to move forward paying a retainer. They are a great example that if you build a helpful and trusting relationship with a client on the front end, they will want to do business with you.
In the past, we contacted Esther Wang's office for two different needs. Each meeting and follow-ups were handled by a highly informed support staff. We had assistance with V.A. benefits, and medical benefits. Not having to deal with the legal matters alone made the effort less stressful. It helps to get all the legal advise before you need it.
The Smith Children
My parents suddenly needed to transition into Assisted Living, causing a hardship to their finances. [The staff] worked diligently on obtaining aid and attendance from the VA for my parents...we received a reimbursement of $38,000. from the VA that we had already spent over the last 9 months, as well as over $2,100.a month in continuing assistance ... There's no way we could have ever dealt with all the requirements of the VA.
We had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Wang and Ms. Lewis, of the Elder & Disability Law Firm, Redlands, CA, regarding VA Benefits for a relative. Prior to the meeting, we had researched VA program(s) and found the process of understanding the system somewhat challenging. We were referred to Ms. Wang for consultation and advice on the appropriate filing process. Our experience was outstanding. This firm is both knowledgeable and highly ethical. They know the procedures associated with government filings and did everything in a timely and proper manner. We would strongly recommend this firm for any benefit or estate issues. They simply are the best in the field.
After spending a year with another firm who took my Dads money and never did anything, Esther Chen Wang and [staff] were able to resolve all our trust and VA benefits issues in just 6 weeks! They talked us through the whole complicated process and were always there to answer every question along the way. They took great care of us and helped us accomplish what the other firm promised but never even tried to do. Now my dad is finally getting the care he deserves and needs at 96. We are very grateful. They came highly recommended and rightfully so.
Attorney Wang and [the staff], Paralegal/VA Benefits Consultant, guided my family through the last few years of my parent’s lives. They helped update Mom and Dad’s trust and were an immeasurable help after their passing. They were always kind and understanding. I can’t say enough about how we appreciated the precise and accurate legal advice. Anyone working with elderly parents should consider making Attorney Wang and her staff a part of the family team.
Due to our parents deteriorating medical condition, they recently moved to an assisted living facility. The facility recommended that our family consult w/Attorney Weng to see if our parent's would qualify for any Veteran's benefits to help with the costs. What a relief!! Attorney Wang and her excellent staff promptly prepared all the necessary documents and in less than six weeks, our parent's are now receiving the maximum monthly VA benefits.
Esther and her staff have helped us for 2 years to navigate through protecting my parent's assrts while getting them the care that they need.
From the free initial consultation, to follow-up help, she and they have been there to help with every new need that we had.
Mom and Dad had previously set up a will, etc but when they needed care, their attourney had to be educated by Esther about the ways to protect assets.
I strongly encourage children of elderly parents to meet with Esther before there is a need so that she can help you understand future needs and be prepared! And if you already have a parent in need of additional care, it isn't too late. Let her help you!!!
If you are considering applying for VA aid and attendance benefits, do not take one step in that direction without consulting Esther Wang. She is the absolute authority in this area. My sister and I retained Esther to help us obtain VA spousal benefits for my mom. We are so glad we did! She explained everything to us and told us exactly what needed to be done, in terms we could understand. She and her team ... are experts in their field, and it was readily apparent every step of the way. They are thorough, expeditious, and keep you well-informed. All questions received a rapid and friendly response from [the staff]. They never left us hanging. I recommend the Elder and Disability Law Firm without reservation. I will not hesitate to contact Esther Wang again for assistance--and neither should you!
We were referred to Esther Wang for assistance with my mother-in-law's VA spousal benefits... and would not hesitate to refer Esther and [the staff]. We followed their advice to the letter... and the overwhelming process was handled professionally, answering our multitude of questions and giving advice where needed. The entire process took just two months! Thank you!
Ms. Wang and her team were very instrumental in helping my mother get approved for her VA benefits. The paperwork seemed insurmountable, but they guided us step by step until everything was complete. Ms. Wang is very knowledgeable about the fine details required on the VA applications, and how if not prepared a certain way, could disqualify an otherwise eligible veteran. My mothers application was approved the first time, saving us precious time that had it not been for Ms. Wang and her team, may have meant appealing.
The law firm assisted us in obtaining the VA Benefits for my father-in-law and recommended a facility for him. They also assisted us in estate planning. It makes things so much easier when you have somebody that can answer your questions and guide us in the complexities of the VA.
My mother was moving to an assisted living facility when Esther Wang's Elder Law firm was recommended as one that could provide needed legal assistance. We met with Esther and found her firm could help us in an number of areas, including Veteran's benefits, Medi-Cal, creation of Powers of Attorney and setting appropriate Trusts. We retained the firm, the necessary documents were drawn up quickly and benefits were set up and received and, since then, everyone we worked with at the firm has been extremely helpful, professional and got things done. My mother just passed away and the firm is still helping with necessary arrangements and advice. I would highly recommend this firm and all who work there.
I came to Esther Wang's office the first time a bit hysterical. My elderly father's health had suddenly taken a turn for the worst and he could not possibly afford the assisted care he would need for the rest of his life. Esther calmed me down, asked me if my father was a vet to which I replied yes, and then explained how she could help my dad afford assisted care by applying for VA benefits. She and her staff applied for the benefits on my dad's behalf and today my dad is receiving them monthly. Now my family and I have peace of mind knowing that my dad is receiving the care that he needs. Esther and her staff sincerely care about their clients. They are in this business to help families maneuver their way through the complexities of filing for benefits and they are very competent at doing that. I could not have done this without them!
If I could give six out of five stars I would!! Esther Wang and her professional and compassionate staff are there for you always. When you are stressed with elder and disability problems, knowing that you have found the right lawyer is most comforting and critical to achieving a positive outcome. Don't look any further. Esther and her staff are of the utmost caliber. They are committed to your case and treat you with compassion and patience. Be reassured that you have come to the right place. My father is a World War 2 Vet and deserves to receive the pension he is so qualified for. He would not have received it without their dedicated work with the VA. I am forever grateful to Esther and her staff.
She came highly recommended and from the start she did not disappoint. Very concise and had all the answers, we felt very confident in moving forward with her and staff.
Listen, take notes, ask questions.
Esther and her staff have been a lifesaver for my Mom with complete planning for her VA and Medi-cal eligibility. They are highly professional, experienced, very knowledgeable, and clearly communicated everything we needed to do for Mom's estate planning and benefits eligibility. As my Mom's sole caregiver
it took a huge load off my shoulders and gave me the peace of mind to know that everything has been done correctly. I recommend Esther's firm wholeheartedly!
Esther and [the staff] were instrumental in enabling my mom to get the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit she so desperately needed. Had I tried to tackle this on my own, it would have taken twice as long; I know this from personal experience having had to assist another family member with the same type of issue a few years ago. Throughout the process, Esther and her staff were responsive and thoroughly professional. If I ever face a situation where I need assistance with any elder care or disability issue, I will not hesitate to secure Esther's services again. She and her staff have my highest recommendation.
I am very grateful that my elderly relative used Esther Wang and her staff to prepare his estate plan which included a trust. Their expertise in elder law proved invaluable. They had the foresight to include provisions which allowed me to immediately and easily step in to manage his affairs when dementia and other health-related issues incapacitated him. They were also available to provide advice and counsel any time I had questions related to my roles as power of attorney and co-trustee. When my relative passed away, their trust administration services made the settlement of his estate a relatively easy process, most of which they were able to expedite. I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Esther Wang and her staff, and recommend this law firm without hesitation.
Esther Wang and her staff ... were instrumental in helping us receive VA benefits for my elderly father. Although the VA was disorganized and unresponsive at times to our claim, their law firm knew exactly how to proceed and were persistent in receiving my father's benefits. Additionally, they went beyond in helping us receive my father's retro-pay which was delayed by the VA. I sincerely recommend this law firm and we are eternally GRATEFUL for all they have done for my father, a WWII Veteran. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!
Ms. Wang and her capable staff ... helped us navigate the complicated path to obtaining MediCal benefits as well as VA Aid and Attendance benefits for my Mom, after my Dad passed away. We could never have done it without their help. They were unfailingly patient and capable as they helped us through the lengthy process. My family and I would highly recommend Ms. Wang and her office to anyone. They are wonderful!
Esther and her office helped set up a trust for my parents and handled my Dad's application for the VA Aid & Attendance pension. Ester was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and very helpful dealing with the delicate end of life issues that needed to be addressed with my parents. The trust was set up quickly, thoroughly, and professionally. [The staff] helped us with the application for my Dad's VA pension and with their expert help his benefit was approved in just two short months! We were so pleasantly surprised! My parents are relieved and are now getting the care they need. A big thanks to everyone in Esther's office for such a great job.
The Elder and Disability Law Firm of Esther Wang and her staff sets the gold standard for this type of law firm. Esther and her staff were exceptional. They helped me regarding my elder father and answered all of my many, many questions. They were extremely prompt in getting back with me on any of the inquiries I had for my father's case. This is by far the best law firm I have ever worked with ... My paralegal and case manager was excellent and a sheer joy to work with. This is a fabulous law firm.
My mother-in-law became incapacitated and needed full-time care. Esther, and her great team at the Elder Law Firm, helped us after I went to two other attorneys who could not get results. She helped my mother qualify for Medi-Cal, and also allowed us to protect her home so that my wife's family could inherit it, instead of having the state take it after she passes.
Esther also informed us that my father-in-law, a foreign-war veteran, qualified for VA benefits to help us pay for a full-time caregiver to help him too. After no end of bureaucratic hurdles, which the excellent staff at the Elder and Disability Law Firm helped us navigate, we we have care for our parents, have protected their assets for their family, and have provided them with financial security.
I recommend the Elder and Disability Law Firm for anyone dealing with Medi-Cal for long-term care, and also for Veteran's Benefits. Esther Wang charged us a fair, up-front fee and got the work done promptly thereafter.
So many thanks from our family.
We had a pretty complicated case and everybody at the office was excellent ...
Our mother had a bad fall and could no longer live on her own, but assisted living was so expensive. Esther's office was able to help us with getting my mother her VA Aid and Attendance and MediCal., which enabled her to live in a nice assisted living.
A couple years later we moved out of state and had several complications with the VA on moving her out of state etc. so I went back to Esther and staff and they again worked through all the paperwork with me and got everything back on track. Don't know what we would have done without them. Not only are they knowledgeable and experienced, but also concerned, compassionate and very accessible I highly recommend her.
They guided us through every step of the process and handled all of the paperwork. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable.
My experience with Mrs. Wang's office and staff, was nothing but professional , courteous and helpful.
The entire experience obtaining Veteran's Survivors Benefits for my mother was completed through the help of experienced VA paralegals. The staff kept my family informed off all aspects of the process from beginning to end. My mother is receiving benefits and her life is better , we were able able to move her to a better care facility . Our financial burden has been lifted and we highly recommend Esther's Law office and her staff.
We first met Esther when we were pursuing VA benefits for my dad last September. Sadly my dad passed away before it was completed. Since then she and her firm are helping us with VA benefits for my mother. We have found them to be very thorough and knowledgable. They are extremely professional and helpful. Whenever we have a question or concern they are very quick to respond to our needs. We could never have done this without their expertise.
I was recommended to see Esther by a friend who said that she was very good and would be able to help us with getting my mother her VA benefits. My mother is now receiving her benefits thanks to Esther and especially her staff. We are very pleased with how we were taken care of and how all my questions were answered promptly. I would highly recommended Esther and her staff to anyone needing help with receiving VA benefits.
Esther is truly an outstanding attorney along with her whole team. She educated me about my Father and protecting his estate and making sure everything was covered. Her office staff always so thourough and follow through is beyond what you can say about most law offices. They never rush you and feel that they are always there with any questions or concerns you may have.
Ms. Wang kept me informed every step of the way. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. I am very grateful to Ms. Wang for her expert advise and timely completion of our file.
Esther Wang has flawlessly handled every aspect of our mother's MediCal qualification and subsequent redeterminations. In that, she has proved to be an honest and hard-working advocate, repeatedly finding creative ways for us to handle our unique circumstances, in order to save us time, money, and aggravation.
Furthermore, our case was complicated by involvement with investments and property in New York State. Esther has worked effectively and amicably with our mother's attorney in NY in resolving all those issues.
In sum, I cannot imagine having tried to negotiate this path without Esther's assistance, and she and her staff have made it a painless and (almost!) enjoyable experience.
Esther and her staff so impressed me with their knowledge of the law, compassion for our plight, and attention to details, that I had to chose her to handle my case. They spent hours, walking us through the process. I got many "denied" letters from the VA. Each time I thought "were done, no chance now". I would call Esther's staff to thank them anyway. My case worker...was almost always available right then on that call. Our previous living trust attorney would only take calls through a voicemail and often wouldnt respond for days. Esther and her VA Benefits consultant...would tell me that they aren't giving up. She eased my anxiety with her knowledge of the system and they would write another letter back to the VA. My dad felt abandoned by the VA because it was taking so long but Esther's staff was professional and assured us that the VA has not abandoned us and assured us of our case's merit. If I had handled this myself, I would have quit and the VA would have let the case drop. Esther's firm wrote about four letters to the VA on my behalf. I cannot thank them enough for keeping me informed at each turn, helping us not lose heart, and even succeeding. We are now receiving monthly checks which covers most of his aid and attendance and I owe it completely to this firm. I highly recommend them to my friends and anyone who needs to apply for VA benefits. Words that come to mind are kind, intelligent, knowledgable, persistant and SUCCESSFUL.

Esther Wang was hired to help with process of application for veteran's benefits for my father, a WWII veteran. The process is ongoing at this point. She seems to understand well the requirements for this, with appropriate submittals being made as required. She has also explained the process quite clearly.
I first met Esther about two years ago. I needed help for my Aunt who had just lost her husband and didn't know what to do. An attorney I knew in Yuma, AZ. recommended Esther.
Most recently they handled my Aunts recertification for Medicare. They are experienced, dedicated and results oriented. I would recommend Esther to anyone that needs help with a "Loved One" or family member.
From the moment I first stepped into Ms Wangs office I knew I was in the right place. They office made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Ms Wang and I had our consultation and I immediatly knew I had made the right decision to see her. Ms Wang and her staff have been a "God Send" to both my daughter and I in a most difficult time of our life. I would most certainly recommend Ms Wang's to anyone who required an Attorney for the Elderly.
Ester and her staff are professional and demonstrated acute sensitivity for their customer’s situation (feelings/emotions) continuously - especially in dealing with elder care life changing issues and challenges
Ms Wang, and her office staff, advised me on what benefits my WWII veteran father was qualified to receive. She offered the option of handling the filing ourselves, or using her office to represent us. We are grateful to have had the wisdom to have her office represent the case, as well as handle ancillary aspects of the estate planning necessary to support those filings. While the process was not quick, she handled each with clear professionalism and secured both the VA Aid & Assistance benefit for my disabled father, and qualified both my parents for Medi-Cal benefits should they be required in the future.
Both she and her office are intense and fast paced. The only small issue I expereinced was that sometimes I had to seek clarification of information that was reviewed past me too quickly. Nonetheless, I would absolutely recommend Ms Wang and her office staff to those in need of elder law support.
Esther Wang helped my Dad obtain VA benefits so that he can afford assisted care. She did his estate planning. She assisted in getting medi-cal to assist him further. She is very knowledgeable and experienced about the issues of Seniors and knows what to do to help. She is easy to contact and always responds promptly. Her staff is great and will do whatever it takes to get the papers in on time in dealing with agencies. Elderlaw is what Esther does, so after talking to 5 other lawyers, I chose her, and I reccommend her without hesitation. She has integrity and does things right. I drove 2 hours each way to meet with her and it was worth it.
After 30 days of waiting I was told by another attorney that I would have no chance getting VA to waive a fee for my mom so he was not interested in helping. Then I found Esther Wang. She reviewed all of the paperwork and said she thought she could help us. That is exactly what she did and our problem with VA was solved. I am so thankful that I found her.
I have been trying to help my mother with some financial issues. We were getting different opinions from people and lawyers who were very vague in their answers. Ms. Wang sat down with us and was able to give clear answers to our concerns. She had exact figures and amounts regarding our concerns. This demonstrated her knowledge and left us confident knowing she wasn't giving advice with out all the information. Her office was nice and her staff friendly.
Esther Wang became our family Attorney around August of 2008. She was recommended highly by another Lawyer. I have worked with quit a few attorney's in my days and Ms. Wang rates at the top of my list. She listens without an agenda. She shows genuine concern to every one of my family members. She greets my Father and Mother with respect and compassion. As an Attorney, she is very sharpe. She investigates every angle and leaves no stones unturned. She is a brilliant honest Lawyer who I would recommend highly to anyone.
I've been working with Esther Wang and her team for several years now. I really can't overstate how much working with Ms. Wang has helped me and my family. I noticed a few reviewers mentioned that they were frustrated with some of the process when working with this legal team. So please, if you are considering working with Ms. Wang (or any attorney in his area of expertise), let me offer some advice from the point of view of someone who has gone through the process.Esther Wang and her team are highly specialized in this type of law. But it is complicated so it is a very involved process for her to review everything, advise a plan and help her client's execute that plan. In order for her to do that, she needs to accurately understand your unique financial, legal and family situation. Every client is different so she can only be as effective as the information you provide allow her to be. So as a client you need to be thorough in providing her with a lot of documentation so she can help. It was a little daunting for me at first but I'm so glad I was diligent in gathering everything that was needed even though it took a lot of time, work and communication. I will admit that there is a lot of back and forth during the initial planning phase so be prepared for that. Fortunately her paralegal Kristy is thorough in helping to explain what is needed and very knowledgeable about the process. Because of the legal foundation that was built for us, my grandma will continue to have a very high level of personal and medical care in spite of her medical complications. In addition to that, she will be able to leave her inheritance as she intended. The initial work was expensive for us but the financial returns and knowing my grandma will be well-cared for have been very worth it. Esther Wang saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars. This isn't an exaggeration. Working with Elder and Disability Law has been by far the best investment of money I've ever made. If you are in need of estate planning for yourself or family member, the sooner you start the process, the better options you will have. Plan as far in advance as you can to protect your loved ones and your assets.
Elder Law is a great and proactive addition, for the handling of my Mom's estate. I am out of state, so I had to depend on Esther Wang, and her wonderful staff. There is a lot of paperwork to get done, with estates that concern the government and the military. Complicated and must be done correctly. Elder Law performed, took all the steps necessary, includeing documents and helped me out with their complete experience. I would recommend this Co highly for integrity and experience and friendly staff .. They were wonderful for me and my Mom Thanks so much for everything.
Do you know all the ins and outs of Medicare? MediCal? VA benefits? Do you know how all these Agency's rules and regulations interact with your Trust? Do you even have a Trust? Let's face it, the generation of Californians who bought homes when they were affordable are getting up in years. That wealth will either be transferred to their off-spring or, if left unprotected, will end up the hands of the Medical-Industrial Complex. If you're like me, you have your hands full with your own life. Then, one day, you get an emergency phone call and overnight you need to become an expert in Eldercare. I grew up in Redlands but now live in the Bay Area, when I got the call. I met with Ms. Wang and she laid out for me all the options available in a difficult situation. We don't have lawyers like her in the San Francisco/Bay Area. Here, all consultations start out with how much the lawyer is going to make. You don't know how lucky you are to have access to Ms. Wang in little ole Redlands. As I understand it, Elder Law is complicated even for lawyers...Ms. Wang actually helps write the reference guide for all other lawyers in California. That was enough to make me want to have Ms. Wang be part of my eldercare team. And believe me, you need a team approach to managing a senior citizen.
Attorney Esther Wang is absolutely brilliant and very dedicated! Professional and caring staff. Highly recommend.
I have used this firm for my parents' estate planning, long-term care preplanning, VA benefits, and my personal trust. I have also referred my best friends' for their parents' needs as well. I can't say enough good things about the knowledge, professionalism and trustworthiness of this firm, Attorney Wang and her staff. The fees I paid were reasonable, in fact, they have saved me thousands of dollars above the costs of services. Don't hesitate to contact them for a consultation! And don't wait until it's too late!!!!
